Marianne's Quilts

The first quilt is Marianne's husbands quilt, he did an excellent job on the piecing, perfectly square quilt!  I did lot's of stitch in the ditch and ruler work, but love how it turned out!  I used Hobbs batting and sew fine thread (two colors, a light green and light tan).

The second quilt is Marianne's and her piecing was excellent too.  I had fun in the borders and love how the swirls look for the center of the quilt.  Also used Hobbs batting and sew fine thread (gold and light blue).

Saturday Quilting

This quilt is Beth's and it was a lot of fun to do up.  I used two layers of 100% cotton batting and sew fine thread through out.  I stitched in the ditch and did some ruler work for the straight lines.  I also did my version of McTavishing, on a larger scale.

This is Elenor's quilt and I used the pantograph, "Blooming Feathers' by Ann Bright.  I thought it fitting for this quilt.  Elenor's piecing was nearly perfect, for such a big quilt!

This is Cheri's quilt and the flip-flops are just darling.  They were raw edged appliqued, so I stitched them down and did a swirl around them.

Karen's Quilts

Finished Karen's quilts last night, all 12 of them.

This was a good weeks worth of quilting and that included the binding.
I did overalls for most and they went pretty quick.   Hobbs batting for all too.

This is Annette's 2nd quilt I've done up for her.  I took them over to her today and she loved them!!  I used double batthing....Hobb's and Warm and White and off white thread through out.

This little quilt is Betty's.  I LOVE how this turned out.  I also used double batting, Warm and White on top and Hobbs on the bottom.  I wanted the white on top so the white fabric in Betty's piecing really looked white.  I did major Custom job on this quilt.
