Black Light
For anyone that has not seen a black light used before....this is what it is.
I removed my light bulb from my little bar light and put a black light in it's place. I purchased the black light at Lowe's. Then I ordered the black light pencil on-line. So when you use the black light pencil with the black light...light bulb your pencil will glow. It's great when marking any light or white quilt. And it's TOTALLY invisible in natural light or any other light besides a black light. And it does wash out with a damp rag.
On this quilt. The pencil did show in the red fabrics....but came out just fine with a damp rag.
Hopefully this was informative.

Vine using black light
This is Diane's cute little quilt I'm currently working on. I love this spineless feather! It's a good feather for fun and bright fabric! I've found the best way to do this feather is to draw out the spine for a reference line using a black light pencil....as shown above. :)
This is Deb's fun baby quilt she made. I did my freehand swirl on it.
This is Jim's quilt he did up for a baby boy blanket. I did the pattern 11" Leaf Pile on it. Great pattern for this quilt!

This is Melissa's quilt. It's one her Grandma did up. She told me that when her Grandma died she had 60 quilt tops in her quilt studio!! It's also the first time I quilted a polyester quilt! I did the pattern spiral square on it.
This is Cinda's quilt. Very fun batik quilt! I used the pattern "Country Garden".

Back from vacations and lots quilting to do!! Thist is my Sister-n-law Kim's quilt. She has a very primitive...country style and this quilt is going to look just perfect in her house! She did a great job on it! I used the pattern Feathered Curl.
..and this is my friend Katie's quilt. I did a freehand straight line to echo the zig zag. Great job Katie!
I have more pictures here.
